In 2015-2017, as the founder, I employed survivors of violence who sought to make a tangible difference with their hands. Connecting their desire to work in the fashion industry demanded a sustainable approach, producing a competitive product with added value. Thus, Impact Design was conceived – a systemic design and methodological production method maximizing positive impact in products and services. From this foundation and driven by technological innovation, our team developed and patented the unique Wood Belt. Wood Belt operates as a not-for-profit venture dedicated to including and employing the undeserved. We've cultivated a fashion community that values social and technological innovation, sustainability, and social impact. Our ethos is simple: Feel good. Look good. Do good.
