The DöBra Card Deck is a tool designed to aid in reflections and conversations about what is important during end-of-life. It contains 37 statements about things that may be important for someone nearing the end of their life, such as being free from pain, having financial matters in order, and having loved ones around. The deck also includes the option to add custom statements if something is missing from the pre-printed options. It can be used for personal reflection or for discussions with others, such as family members or healthcare professionals, about what aspects of end-of-life are important to the individual. Developed by the Coda Alliance in the USA, the deck has been translated and adapted to Swedish conditions through the DöBra research program at Karolinska Institutet and Umeå University.
